Hello and welcome to my website! This is primarily a place for you to see what kind of work it is that I do,but also a place to actually buy work that you see. A lot of the pieces that you see here have already sold,but as well as some still being available I am finishing new pieces on

a weekly basis.So do please come back often to see if there is anything that you like.

My name is Alexandra Marler,and I live in Surrey. I have been an Artist for many many years,and have been through various stages of using different mediums,and experimenting with styles.Having been successful for a number of years with my first primary love: painting, I have recently returned to playing with my drawing skills and the added new dimension of digital art.It is an interesting time for me and I am always growing in my skills and knowledge.

My work is mostly driven by emotion.My response to my own emotion as well as the emotions of those around me.Emotion is displayed and felt as a response to so many things, including what we see, hear and feel. As an artist I only feel truly satisfied if my work comes from a place that is real and passionate. Words are sometimes so unsatisfactory and communication can be difficult. So for me, one of the only places I can express myself adequately is in my Art.

If any of my pieces touch you in any way, and they are still available then it gives me great joy to know that they can go to a loving home!

The Foxy Ladies will shortly be available as a set of original printed cards to give as gifts or frame.
